Team of, professional art and antique lovers who got an education of History of art at UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD. Our founder and CEO is Gordon D Fairclough LLB, MA, FSA Scot DPhil Student I Faculty of History. He made art & antiques his passion and studied them for the past ten years.

Our History
Established in 1993 by Gordon Fairclough to bring a decade of experience in fireplaces, stoves, period interiors, historic properties and architectural antiques to the English Lake District

Gordon
Owner
Gordon started dealing in art and antiques at the age of 19 when he bought the premises of Barker Fine Arts in Southport and reopened it as an antiques shop whilst studying for a Law degree. After graduating, he completed the Legal Practice Course (Solicitor’s examination) and continued to build his antiques business buying premises on Kendal high street where he has specialised in fine art, architectural and decorative elements including chimneypieces, chandeliers and 18th-19th century oils for almost 30 years.

Inese
Customer Services Manager
Inese graduated from Daugavpils University with a Bachelor ‘s degree in Education specialising in teaching Music. She has a special interest in choral music. Inese is mum to 2 active boys and is involved with a music group and choir in her spare time, together with enjoying volunteering roles in youth groups

Ksenia
Art Historical Research Assistant and Graphic Design
Ksenia graduated in Arts at Kendal College, then joined an ongoing Bachelor’s degree programme in Graphic Design at Coventry University. She has a special interest in digital art illustration. Ksenia also has a passion for History of Art and Lakeland landscapes, and enjoys fell walking in her leisure time.
